Linda Carolyn Eldridge

Linda Carolyn Eldridge, 65, of Blackey, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard.

Born to the late Matthew “Boss” Slone and Margie Bell Slone, Linda shared 49 years of marriage with her husband, Bruce Eldridge. She was a devoted mother to her children, James (Sara) Eldridge, Rebecca (Charles) Bailey, Tim (Lexy) Eldridge, Chris Cole, Leah Eldridge, and Matthew Eldridge. She was also a loving grandmother to Ellie Eldridge, Sophie Eldridge, Marissa Bailey, Awyrne Eldridge, and Maleigha Bailey. Linda is survived by her two brothers, Kenneth Slone and Billy (Deana) Slone, as well as two special friends, Marshall Ison and Brandy Caudill.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Matthew Bailey.

Linda’s family will remember her quiet strength, her deep love for her husband and children, and the gentle way she touched the lives of those around her.
