Linda Burton-Horne

Linda S. Burton-Horne, age 54, of Verona, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026. Born in Cincinnati to Charles Edward Burton and the late Virginia Burton, she grew up surrounded by the love of her family.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Douglas Horne; her children, Jessica Burton, Christina Daly, Alexa Sheth (Jason), Jalin Burton, Alexander Graham (Jenna), Jared Estep, and Ashton Burton; and her cherished grandchildren, Caelan Daly, Hunter Burton, Charlie Burton, Maeve Graham, Theodore Graham, and Jonathan Graham. She is also survived by her father, Charles Edward Burton; her siblings, Bruce Burton (Maria) and Debbie Scanlon (Darron); and her mother-in-law, Brenda Munday, along with the memory of her late father-in-law, Ken Munday.

A free-spirited and down-to-earth woman, Linda found deep peace and happiness in the natural world. She cherished hiking, camping, fishing, and simply being outdoors, where she felt most at home. Above all, her children and grandchildren brought her the greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Linda will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the love she shared so freely with everyone around her. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
