Linda Hull ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Brighton on Mar. 5, 2026.Linda Buckland Hull, of Brighton, Michigan, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 3, 2026 at the age of 77. We know Linda is with Jesus now because the Bible says: "God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son, Jesus, so that anyone who believes in Him wouldn't have to suffer the 'second death' (eternity in hell), but would have eternal life with Him in Heaven. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him." The Bible also says, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."Linda is predeceased by her husband, Dennis Hull, parents Harold and Virginia Buckland, and sister Sandra Look. She is survived by her whacky but affectionate son Jacob Dailey, his lovely wife, Jenna and their cutest baby ever, Arlo; Linda's beautiful daughter, Leah Dailey and Leah's daughters, Anna the Tender Hearted, Eve the Witty and Wise. She is also survived by her younger sister who loved her so very much, Judy Breitmeyer.Linda was born in Chicago, IL March 18, 1948. When she was 6 the family moved to Redford, MI. Later she attended Madonna University and earned her Master's degree in Education. Linda spent most of her career (over 30 years) at Thurston High School teaching Home Economics and Art.She found many ways to serve the people in her circle of influence. Linda loved to be in the kitchen. She loved to cook for family and friends. She volunteered at many ministries over her 'retired' years: Gleaners(a food shelf), a Women's Prison Ministry, teaching English to Arab women, Teen Mother's group and much more.At her home church, Cornerstone Presbyterian, she served in several ways. She taught Sunday school, worked in the nursery, taught Community Bible Study, VBS, served as Elder for a term, greeter. She went on several mission trips-Russia, Mexico, and Jamaica. She loved to travel. She visited Germany, Israel, Italy, Greece, France, England, and went whale watching in the Northern Pacific.Linda will be forever remembered for her 'joy of living', her love for everyone, her fun sense of humor, her need for playing board games and card games, and her love of ice cream.
