St. Regis Falls – With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Linda B. LaBounty, 80, who peacefully departed this world on March 12, 2026, at her home in Saint Regis Falls, NY, surrounded by her family and the love she so generously gave.Linda was born on January 7, 1946, in Dover, NH, to the late Edward and Olive (Hanson) Cecchetti. She attended high school in Portsmouth, NH and earned her GED. On October 2, 1975, she married Jackson L. LaBounty by the Justice of the Peace.Linda was a genuine, kind, and beautiful soul—a shining light to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her laughter echoed warmly in every room, and her innate happiness had a way of making ordinary moments feel extraordinary. As a devoted wife to the late Jackson L. LaBounty, who predeceased her on October 17, 2007, she shared a blessed union rooted in hard work, love, and unbreakable family bonds.Linda was a hardworking and dedicated individual, known for her remarkable ability to connect with people.Throughout her life, Linda wore many employment hats to include, working at Brasington's Gas Station in St. Regis Falls, working as a study hall monitor for St. Regis Falls Central School, Manager at Radio Shack in Malone, District Manager for Basketville in Florida, Myrtle Beach and Lake George. Her diligence and people-centered approach was well received and her presence was respected.She had an innate talent for making everyone feel valued, always taking the time to greet those she encountered with a smile and warm conversation. Her fun-loving spirit was infectious, filled with wisdom and quick wit, which was received by others with delight. A talented seamstress, Linda created beautiful clothing for her family, and her love for baking was evident in the mouthwatering donuts she made and shared. She cherished the moments spent with her family, especially during berry-picking adventures, where they would gather berries together and transform them into delicious jams through her canning expertise.An animal lover at heart, Linda found great joy in the company of her furry friends, especially her kitty, Punky. In her later years, Linda embraced her faith, finding solace and strength that further enriched her vibrant personality. She nurtured both the body and soul of her family, embodying the essence of a loving, devoted matriarch.She is survived by her beloved children, who will carry a piece of their mother's steadfast spirit and love within their hearts, daughters, Julie (Shane) Jenkinson, Jennifer (John) Teatom, as well as her devoted sons, John Page, and Mark (Cathy) Page. Lindas loving legacy is passed down though the generations as she leaves behind fifteen grandchildren, twenty – five great grandchildren, with two on the way, one great great granddaughter, nieces, nephews, several cousins and many dear friends.In addition to the loss of her parents and husband, Linda was also preceded in death by two brothers, Carlo and Richard Cecchetti, as well as her son Donny Page who passed in infancy, great grandson, Jackson R. Yezak, December 10, 2019 – December 13, 2019, a daughter – in – law, Kimberley Page who passed on October 5, 2024.A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11:00am, at Forest Cemetery in St. Regis Falls, with Certified Celebrant Julia Goodman.Flowers respectfully declined.
