Linda Ann Nobitz

Linda Ann Nobitz, age 77, of West Haven, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 13, 2026. Born in Bridgeport on June 1, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Charles R. and Helen (Grosner) Platko. A longtime resident of the area, Linda devoted more than 30 years of her career to serving as an education assistant with St. Vincent’s Special Needs Program, where her patience, kindness, and dedication touched the lives of countless children and families.

She is remembered as a loving wife of 55 years to her husband, Charles R. “Chuck” Nobitz. Linda was a devoted and caring guardian to Christopher Morgan and shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Tiffany. She is survived by her sister, Kathleen Breeding and her husband, Daniel, of Chantilly, Virginia; her brother-in-law, Robert Nobitz; her sister-in-law, Helen Zdrodwski; and many cherished cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Linda’s gentle spirit, quiet strength, and deep commitment to those she loved will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
