Lilly Bandy ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Swarens Funeral Home on Mar. 10, 2026.Lilly Margaret "Marge" Bandy, age 93, of Milltown, Indiana (formerly of Louisville, Kentucky), went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 8, 2026.Marge was born on February 20, 1933, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Thomas G. Hooper and Emma S. (Reddicks) Hooper. She worked for many years as a security guard and was a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star.In August of 1953, Marge married H.D. Bandy, and the two shared 29 years of marriage together. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of several bowling teams over the years. Marge also loved attending church, singing, and most of all spending time with her friends and family.She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas G. Hooper; her mother, Emma S. Hooper; her husband, H.D. Bandy; two brothers, Lee Hooper and Jack Hooper; and one sister, Betty Fentress.Marge is survived by her daughter, Janice Milton; her son-in-law, Kevin L. Milton; and several nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey, Indiana. Funeral services will be held the same day at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Milltown Cemetery.Marge was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
