She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Dalton and Dollie Dalton; her former husband Willis "Bill" Dalton; her granddaughters, Tiffany McBee and Tessie Moore; her siblings, Rector Dalton, Limmie Dalton and Dora Dalton; and her son-in-law Harvey Kinser.

She is survived by: her husband Donnie Southerland; and her children, Louise Kinser, Lois Morie (Tony), Rosemary Hayworth (Robert), Ed Dalton (Gretta) and C. H. Dalton (Tammy). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westside Chapel Funeral Home, Inc. (3521 W Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lakeshore Baptist Church Cemetery. A burial will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at the same location.
