Lillian R. Smith

Lillian R. Smith, 74, of Marion, Indiana, passed away on March 12, 2026. Born in Marion on October 9, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Garnet Smith and Rudy and Wayne E. Sprowl.

Lillian is survived by her sister, Sharon (Gordon) Hoheimer, and her niece, Shannon Wallace. She was preceded in death by her parents and her younger sister, Gloria M. Woodcock.

Those who knew Lillian will remember a woman who was deeply loved by her family. Her family is grateful for the compassionate care she received from the staff at Wyndmoor Assisted Living, as well as the doctors and nurses at Marion Health, including the Critical Care Department and 3 West, Rick Jeffries of Social Services, and the staff of Able Hands HHC.
