Lillian Mynes-Sweep

Lillian “Sally” May Mynes-Sweep, 85, of Westminster, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Carroll Hospital Center.

Born July 15, 1940, in Baltimore, Sally was the daughter of the late Thelma Ray. She was the wife of the late Donald Ray Mynes and the late John Franklin “Frank” Sweep.

Sally built a successful career first as a business manager and later as a realtor. She had a lifelong love of travel and remained active in the Lions Club, various social clubs, and the homeowners association at Royal Highlands in Leesburg, Florida.

She is survived by her son Steven D. Mynes and his wife Susan of Baltimore; stepchildren Deanna Casulli and her husband David of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Darren Sweep and his wife Rebecca of Gamber; grandchildren Kristin, Kelly, Kasey, Joey, Danielle, Zachary, Katie, Jonathan, and Shawn; many great-grandchildren; and her cousin Janet Dame of Sykesville, who was like a sister to her. She was preceded in death by her son Joseph Morris Zahl and her granddaughter Rachel.
