Lillian Lehman ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Meadors Funeral Home - Republic Chapel on Mar. 13, 2026.Lillian Mae (Stephens) Lehman passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, just 48 days shy of her 100th birthday. At the time of her passing, she was living in Billings, Missouri, surrounded by the love of family and dear friends.Lillian was born in Fort Scott, Kansas, and later graduated from high school in Liberal, Missouri. On May 21, 1945, she married the love of her life, William Leonard Lehman. Together they built a life centered around family, hard work, and making lasting memories.Over the years, Lillian held several occupations. She worked at the ammunition factory in Kansas City during the war years and later as a bookkeeper at Western Auto in Kansas City. She eventually attended the Independence School of Hairdressing, where she became a licensed beautician and owned her own beauty shop, proudly called the "Sheri-Deb." Later in life, after retirement, she worked in the sporting goods department at Walmart in Clinton, Missouri, where many customers came to her for advice on finding that perfect fishing hole.Lillian had a true gift for cooking and made sure no one ever left her home hungry. She and her husband Bill shared a love for camping, boating, and traveling whenever they had the opportunity. Lillian also enjoyed arts and crafts and loved creating things with her hands.She is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl Hagen and her husband David Hagen of Venice, Florida, and Debbie Harald and her husband Richard Harald of Billings, Missouri.She was a proud grandmother to three grandsons: Christopher Lee Hagen and Andrew Lee Hagen, both of Port Charlotte, Florida, and Bradley Neil Parkins.Lillian was also blessed with three great-granddaughters: Amy Hagen, Jessica Hagen Scott, and Breana Parkins. Her legacy continues through her three great-great-grandchildren: Arthur, William, and Ellie.Lillian was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Leonard Lehman, six siblings, and one grandson.Lillian lived a remarkable life that spanned nearly a century. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, creativity, and the deep love she had for her family. She will be greatly missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.Family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 11 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Republic. A Celebration of Life will follow at 12 P.M with Pastor Lee Miller and Kevin Smart officiating. She will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery in Republic following the Celebration of Life.
