Lillian Clydene Crosby Rawls, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2026, in Savannah, Georgia. Born on September 19, 1947, Clydene lived her entire life in her beloved Savannah, where she built deep connections within her family, community, and faith.

She enjoyed a long career as a clerk at Mercy Federal Credit Union, where her professionalism and kindness left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients. A devoted Southern Baptist, Clydene found comfort and joy in her faith. She cherished simple pleasures such as reading, watching Christmas movies, enjoying Mexican cuisine—especially with a margarita—and attending live performances at The Savannah Theater.

Clydene was preceded in death by her father, Grover Thedus Crosby, Sr., her mother, Thelma Kangeter Crosby, her husband, Spencer Rawls, and her sisters, Delores Cooper, Nina Parrish, and Jackie Zipperer. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Bagtas and husband Jason, her son, Douglas Spencer Stewart, her brother, Grover T. Crosby, Jr. and wife Cindy, grandchildren Austin Winemiller and wife Lizzie, and Jordan Winemiller, four great-grandchildren, and her dear friend Geri Rogers.

Clydene will be remembered for her loving spirit, her deep dedication to family, and her unwavering kindness that touched everyone she met. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her.
