Lillian C. "Stewart" Kenoian

Lillian C. Kenoian, 96, of North Smithfield, passed away on March 13, 2026. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Lillian Nyberg Stewart Ethier and Martin Adam Stewart. She was married to Harold H. Kenoian for 64 years, and together they built a life centered on steadfast faith, family, and enduring friendships.

After graduating from Pawtucket West High School in 1949, Lillian became the first x-ray technician at Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket. She and Harold later purchased Overlook Nursing in 1958, where she continued her commitment to patient care. For decades she oversaw activities and events at the facility, helping it become one of the top nursing homes in the state. She remained deeply devoted to her church, Slatersville Congregational Church, located near the family home on School Street in Slatersville.

Lillian is survived by her son, Charles, and his wife, Robin; her daughters, Janet and her husband, Kevin, and Kristen and her husband, Michael; her grandchildren, Andrew, Sarah, Curtis, Samuel, and Adam; and her great-grandchildren, Mason, Hunter, Chase, Cali, and Crew. She was predeceased by her brother, George Ethier.
