Librada Garcia

Librada Garcia passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026. Born on January 30, 1928, in the small town of Tejolocachi, Chihuahua, to Jose Quintana and Virginia Perez, she was preceded in death by her parents and all ten of her siblings.

She spent many years in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she was deeply cherished by her community. Friends and neighbors often visited her in her later years, sharing time and kindness. She also made regular trips to Garden City to be with family and to see her grandchildren.

Librada is survived by her husband, Feliciano Garcia, their daughter Elizabeth Torres, and their son Jose Luis Garcia. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren—Jose Luis Garcia, Jared Torres, Esau Torres, Alvin Torres, Orlando Garcia, Zaira Torres, and Adair Torres—and five great-grandchildren, Kian, Zahir, Mason, Zadien, and Kamil.
