Leve Arnold, Jr., known affectionately as “LV,” of Okeechobee, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on March 30, 1959, he was the son of the late Leve Arnold Sr. and Dottie “Irene” (Lamb) Arnold. From an early age, Leve developed a deep love for heavy machinery and a strong work ethic, beginning in the orange groves of Fort Pierce before helping build roads for Orange County and later for private contractors. A proud native Okeechobian, he cherished his pioneer family heritage.
Leve’s life was defined by his steadfast commitment to Okeechobee Missionary Baptist Church, his devotion to his family, and his quiet ministry of witnessing to teenagers and helping those in need. He shared many stories drawn from life’s lessons that touched countless people.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle; sisters Josephine (Wayne) Smith of Georgia and Sandi (Bruce) Freeman of North Carolina; brother Tim Arnold of Oklahoma; his dear friend and brother KJ Ammons; uncle William Arnold; stepson Cory (Crystal) Wilcox; and many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Leve was preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandparents Willie and Lena (Arnold) Grooms, maternal grandparents Palmer and Hattie Lamb, infant daughter Michelle, sisters Rachel Arnold and Robin Arnold Flynn, and stepson Cody Wilcox.
