Lester Grace ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Hansen-Gravitt Funeral Home on Feb. 26, 2026.Lester Ray Grace Sr, 72, of Janesville, Wisconsin, formerly of Beloit, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Alden Meadow Park in Clinton, Wisconsin.Lester was born on Saturday, June 27, 1953, in Houston, Texas, the son of L.G. an Kattie Ellen (Thomas) Grace. He graduated from Cashmeire Garden High School in in 1971, where he played football. Lester was previously married to the former Patricia Ann Francis.Lester moved to Beloit, Wisconsin from Houston, Texas in 1977. He was employed as a machinist first at Regal Beloit and later at Besly-Welles Corporation. Lester was a former member of New Zion Baptist Church in Beloit. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and playing baseball for fun, taking control of the grill at cookouts, and watching his kid's playing sports. Lester was a fan of the Chicago Bears and was an old school muscle car guy.Lester is survived by his son, Lester (Heidi) Grace jr; daughter, Monic Grace; grandchildren, Jhaquarrion "Quay" Grace, Tara Dismuke, Anntanesha Farr, Malik Farr, Devon Minor, Devontay Minor, Lydia Grace, and Josiah Grace; great-grandson, Armani; nephews, Frank Buxton III, and Kevin Buxton; and his former wife, Pat Gladney. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Evelyn Grace; and brother-in-law, Frank Buxton Jr.A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026 at Hansen-Gravitt Funeral Home, 424 Prospect Street, Beloit, Wisconsin 53511.
