Leslie Thomas Mayes

Leslie Thomas Mayes of Lone Grove, Oklahoma, passed away on March 16, 2026, at the age of 80. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose quiet strength and steadfast love left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Predeceased by his parents, Olie Mayes and Anna Mayes (Blackmon), and his siblings, Bunky Mayes, Elsie Allison, Patsy Allen, and Mary Roberts, Leslie is survived by his wife, Mary; his children, James Mayes (Rhonda), Sara Mayes, and Eric Mayes (Joe Joe); his brother, Olie Mayes, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Dalton Mayes, Kaylan Mayes, Dakota Mayes, Luis Alvarez, Michael McCune, Maverick McCune, and Memphis McCune. He is also survived by his siblings-in-law, Mildred Walker (Russell) and Vernon Poe, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of family and friends who will cherish the memories of his life.
