Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel - Bowling Green on Mar. 17, 2026.Leslie Tinsley of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away at Tristar Skyline in Nashville, Tennessee, surrounded by her loving family. A Warren County native, she was born on May 29, 1955, to the late Helen Clark and Robert Schultz.Leslie spent 23 years working in the WKU bookstore and another 21 years at the Corvette Museum. She was a friend to many and found joy in the outdoors, especially tending to her garden. Leslie cherished both time with others and peaceful moments to herself. She enjoyed painting, drawing, and working her crossword puzzles. She adored being a stepmom and the beloved "neighborhood Grammie."She is preceded in death by her step-grandson, Camden Tinsley.Leslie is survived by her boyfriend husband of 45 years, Wendell Tinsley; her sister, Elaine Lowery (Jed); her brother, Mark Schultz (Mallie); her stepchildren, Jeffery Tinsley, Jason Tinsley (Michelle), and Aaron Tinsley; her step-granddaughter, Shea (Bryan), and step–great-granddaughter, Blake; and her nephew, Andy Schultz (Erin), and his son, Blake.Services have been entrusted to J. C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel. Visitation will be held at Hillvue Heights Church on Monday, March 23, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Cremation was chosen.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
