She graduated from Glendora High School in Glendora, California, and later discovered her creative calling as an interior designer while living in Utah. In 2012, she moved to Statesboro, Georgia, where she made her home for the remainder of her life.Leslie was known for her remarkable sense of humor and her ability to bring laughter to those around her. She was always ready with a joke and delighted in lifting the spirits of others. She loved animals of every kind, especially her beloved cat, Boots. An artist at heart, Leslie had a unique ability to see beauty everywhere-in ordinary things, unusual things, and all the small moments that make life meaningful.Leslie was preceded in death by her mother, JoAnne Jacobs; her father, William S. Timmons; and her brother, David Jacobs (Stella), and a stepbrother, Wayne Jacobs (Maria).She is survived by her daughter, Khara Klein of Las Vegas, Nevada; two grandsons, Paydon Prescott (Summer) of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Gavin Bohannon of Las Vegas, Nevada; two great-grandchildren, Adelaide (Addy) and Charlotte, her sister, Deborah Timmons Hill of Statesboro, Georgia; her stepbrother, Richard Jacobs of Hanford, California; her niece, Heather Merritt ofStatesboro, Georgia; and her nephews, Dr. Naethan Hendrix of Slocomb, Alabama, Timothy Hendrix of Statesboro, Georgia, and Sean Jacobs of Fountain Valley, California.The family will gather privately to commemorate and celebrate her life.Friends may sign the online register book at www.joineranderson.comJoiner-Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory of Statesboro is in charge of the arrangements.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
