Leslie Anne Lint

Leslie Anne Lint, née Badertscher, passed away on March 7, 2026. Born on April 14, 1945, in Wooster, she was raised in Dalton and East Canton and graduated from Jackson High School in 1963.

She was a devoted wife to her husband Jerry Lint, sharing 55 years of love and companionship with him until his passing in October 2023. Leslie’s generous spirit and passion for cooking brought joy to countless friends and family members, as she was always eager to share a meal. She also found great pleasure in crafting, especially making handmade cards.

A dedicated community member, Leslie volunteered at her church preparing welcome bags and participating in monthly food outreach. She also gave her time at the Total Living Center in Canton and worked the polls on election days, often making sure her fellow workers were well fed. Known for her warm smile and welcoming nature, she approached every interaction with kindness and compassion, never hesitating to lend a helping hand.

Leslie is survived by her children, Jeffery (Dana) VonLindt, Patricia Lint, and Mark (Tammy) Lint; her cherished grandsons Aldon, Simon, Andrew, Schyler, and Jacob; and her sisters Mary Reese and Betty (Jon) Wojtowicz, along with many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her legacy of love, generosity, and selflessness will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
