Lesley Ramsay ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Chamberlain Funeral Home & Monuments, LLC - Oregon on Mar. 17, 2026.Lesley Susan Ramsay, 53, of Oregon, passed away at her home on Saturday, March 14, 2026.Lesley was born on August 5,1972 in Fairfax, Missouri to Robert and Janet Kay (Sipes) Archer. She was one of five children. Lesley was raised in Forest City, Missouri, and attended school at South Holt in Oregon, Missouri.After high school Lesley worked several jobs, including time at SST and later with IAT Insurance. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, watching hummingbirds and other birds, and sports – especially cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs when they were winning. Most importantly, Lesley enjoyed spending time with her nieces, nephews, cousins of all ages, and her grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Archer; nephew, Jed Workman; and cousins, Christopher Hughes and Michael Sipes.Survivors include her son, Drake (Kenya) Ramsay; grandchildren, Jed Ramsey and Jackson Henderson; sisters, Robyn (Jamie) Egger, Lagetha (Lance) Sloniker, and Dena Workman; brother, Elliott McClanahan; nieces and nephews, Brennan Sloniker, Kayla Messbarger, Hannah Paczosa, Alec Egger, Maddex Egger, Tommy Thompson, Courtney Leach, and Melissa McClanahan; great nieces and great nephews, Avery, Aspyn, and Haizley Messbarger; Beaux Sloniker; Ian, Jett, and baby girl Paczosa on the way; Wesley, Xavier, and Lilah Egger; Ashlyn and Brixton Leach; and Huxley and Ember Thompson, along with numerous cousins and other members of a large, extended family.Family visitation: Friday, March 20, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Chamberlain Funeral Home in Oregon, Missouri. Funeral services: Saturday, March 21, 2026, 12:00 pm, Forest City Christian Church. Graveside services and interment will follow at the Benton Church Cemetery, Forest City, Missouri. Memorials may be directed to the Holt County Cancer Fund or the Patient Assistance Fund at Mosaic Cancer Center.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
