He was born on August 11, 1943 in Camden, South Carolina to Leroy Williams, Sr. and Alberta Stratford Williams. Leroy was employed with Eversource for many years. He took great pride in maintaining his home and providing for his wife and son. He was a luxury car enthusiast who enjoyed the smooth sounds of jazz music. He was known for his unwavering work ethic and deep commitment to caring for his family. He was a member of Bethel AME Church of Norwalk, where Rev. Dr. Richard Wesley Clarke is the Senior Pastor. In addition to his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sheila Gleaton Williams. His memory and legacy will forever be treasured by his devoted son, Lance M. Williams (Roxanne), his loving aunts Ida Moses and Margaret Monroe and a host of cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Graves Medley Funeral Services, 31 Stillwater Ave., Stamford, CT.
