Leroy Richard Knight, 89, a lifelong resident of Mathews, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Vella “Fee” G. Knight; his son, Brad R. Knight and wife Marlene; his daughters, Holly R. Knight and Wendy K. Lagarde and husband Tommy; his grandchildren, Jeremy Knight and wife Samantha, Cherie Knight, Chandler Lagarde and wife Megan, and Lee Lagarde; and his great-grandchildren, Matthew Knight, Andrew Knight, and Ethan Knight.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Marie Knight, and his brothers, Guy Knight and Ralph Knight.
The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the staff of Haydel Memorial Hospice and The Suites at Sugar Mill Point for the compassionate care they provided Leroy.
