Leroy McCall ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Jakubs-Waite Funeral Home on Mar. 16, 2026.Leroy McCall, 84, longtime resident of Eastlake OH, passed away peacefully surrounded at home by his girls on Friday March 13th, 2026.Born April 4th, 1941, to the late Harry and Gertrude McCall of Spangler PA. Leroy was the youngest of five, with 3 older brothers; Harris, Jim, and Robert along with a sister, Joyce all whom he proceeds in death. As well as his wife of 43 years Virgina (Ginger) McCall, son in law Eric Schuldheis and great granddaughter Layla Schuldheis.Leroy was survived by his 3 daughters: Kathy Fleming (Jack), Barb Schuldheis and Lori Greer (Eric). Leroy took great pride in being a father and devoted his life to spending time with his grandchildren; Jessica (Tommy), Kayla, Erica, Bryan (Hailey), Briana and Josh as well as spoiling his 8 great grandchildren; Jackson, Julien, Delilah, Hazel, Bryson, Eileen, Jolene, and Roman. Leroy was also deeply loved by his brother-in-law, sister-in-laws and an endless swarm of nieces and nephews.Leroy served 4 years in the US Navy from 1961 to 1964. Soon after he became a loyal member of 60 + years to the Labors International Union Local 310. Leroy took great pride in his yard where you could find him on his tractor or on the back porch admiring the scenery. Often you could find him at the American Legion post 678 where he was a lifetime member. After retirement and many years before, Leroy enjoyed his time watching the river go by deep in the Alleghany mountains where you never saw the same water twice.
