Leroy James Wisch, known to many as Bud or Lee, age 80, of Clarendon Hills, Illinois, passed away on March 5, 2026. Born on June 24, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois, Lee lived a life defined by strength, loyalty, and an unwavering devotion to his family.

He built his career as a developer throughout the Chicago area and took great pride in his work. To him, work was never simply a job, but his purpose. He believed deeply in providing for his family and building a life for those he loved. His determination, resilience, and relentless spirit were qualities admired by everyone who knew him. A proud veteran, Lee was also a respected member of the Shriners and the Scottish Rite.

Lee was a legendary storyteller whose presence filled every room. Known for his toughness, loyalty, and heart of gold, he lived by a simple belief: never tell yourself you cannot do something. In his eyes, anything was possible with determination. He loved baseball in all its forms, from cheering on USC baseball and the Chicago White Sox to simply enjoying the game wherever it was played. He also enjoyed building, poker, cigars, classic cars, and the music of his era.

Above all else, Lee loved his family and his dogs. Those closest to him know that being home with them was where he was happiest. He is survived by his loving wife, Diana, and his children Kyle, Erik, and Wendy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Theresa Wisch, and his siblings Catherine, Bernard Jr., Edward, and Frances Wisch.
