Lequita (Tina) Marie Kindle Dickson

Lequita (Tina) Marie Kindle Dickson, age 74, of Marshall, Missouri, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, surrounded by her family at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

Born on July 16, 1951, in Lexington, Missouri, to Jack Warner Kindle and Dorothea Alvira Lichtentheler Kindle, Lequita spent many years working at the Marshall Habilitation Center before retiring on January 1, 2008, so she could devote herself to caring for her granddaughter. Her family was the center of her world. Through every joy and challenge, her love for them remained steadfast and unwavering.

Lequita cherished the simple times spent with family and friends above all else. She considered her greatest blessing the opportunity to be a grandmother, parent, and best friend to her granddaughter, a role she embraced with profound devotion and joy.

She is survived by her daughter Valerie Dickson of Marshall, Missouri; her son Nathan Dickson and daughter-in-law Ashley (Rhed) Morgan of Durham, North Carolina; her granddaughter Kady Dickson-Sayers of Marshall, Missouri; her sisters Jaquie (Ben) Culver of Warrensburg, Missouri, and Linette Lester of Carrollton, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; and many beloved bonus family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Treva Slade, and her brother Howard Kindle.
