Born and raised in the area, Leon lived a full life rooted in his hometown and community. He was a longtime member of First M.B. Church, where his faith and quiet strength touched many. Those who knew him will remember his steady presence, his deep love for family, and the simple dignity he brought to everything he did.
He is survived by his loving family and friends who will carry his memory with them. Burial followed in West Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
