Leo Paul Stahl

Leo Paul Stahl, 93, of Humboldt, passed away on March 6, 2026, at New Homestead in Guthrie Center, Iowa.

Born on January 27, 1933, in LuVerne, Iowa, Leo was the son of Paul and Marie (Heinen) Stahl. He married Patricia Ann Hanrahan on January 26, 1957, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Humboldt. Leo spent 50 years working at Gunder Manufacturing in Dakota City. He found quiet joy in playing pool and cards, golfing, and fishing, but nothing pleased him more than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Lisa (Daryl) Muhlbauer, Bob (Kelly) Stahl, and Nick (Kathy) Stahl; grandchildren Chad, Cole, Courtney, Sam, Rachel, Chase, Andie, and Betsy; and 12 great-grandchildren. Leo was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Marie Stahl, his wife Patricia (Hanrahan) Stahl, his brother James Stahl, and his sister Mary Jane DeMarre.
