He was predeceased by: his parents, Regina Scheuermann (Fleckinstein) and Valentine Scheuermann. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Scheuermann (Bresnahan); his sister Regina Neff (Scheuermann); and his children, David (Shari), Marty, Beth, Jane (Greg), Jerry (MJ), Lee (Bill) and Tom (Paige). He is also survived by His family continued to grow with 23 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Cape Mat County Veterans Cemetery (127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Cape May County Veterans Cemertery and Park (127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210). A burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
