Leldon Eugene Lacey entered this world on March 30, 1970 to Curtis Eugene Lacey and Nolie Laverne Waugh Thompson. He departed for his Heavenly Reward on March 12, 2026. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Son Rise Fellowship Church in Moulton. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the church with Bro. Mr. Leldon Lacey is survived by his wife of 30 years, Parlissa; his children, Colina Lacey Moyers, Todd Lacey, and Dillon Lacey; his very special niece, Halona Flatt; grandchildren, Shayla Moyers, Raylon Moyers, Charlie McCarley, Lilly Lacey, Marcus Lacey, Bentley Lacey, Keelan Lacey, and Asher Lacey; sisters, Tammy (Brady) Flanagan, Mary Lacey, and Amy Lacey; brother, David Lacey; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Leldon was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Eugene Lacey and his granddaughter, Jennifer McCarley.

Leldon wore many hats and among his favorites were Daddy, Husband, Pawpaw, Brother, Son, Friend and most importantly was dedicated and faithful servant of the Lord. He was always praying for others and was never afraid to share the Gospel. He will be truly missed at family gatherings, as he was always the first to step up and pray over our family and bless the meal before we ate.

Leldon had many hobbies that he loved throughout his life. From an early age, he enjoyed arrowhead hunting with his Daddy. He was proud to be self-taught on the guitar and loved playing whenever he could. He also had a knack for mechanic work and could fix just about anything. Fishing was another favorite pastime, and he spent many peaceful days casting a line in the lake behind his home.

Leldon had a special love for animals, and his yard was always full of chickens. If you were an animal-dog, cat, horse, or even a flying squirrel-Leldon's house was the place to be, because he always made sure you were cared for.

He was a friend to everyone and truly never met a stranger. Leldon was the kind of person you could call anytime, and if he was able to help, he would be right there.

The family would like to express their gratitude for all the prayers and calls during this difficult time.

Pallbearers are David Lacey, Hershel Osborn, Chris Stricklin, Prentiss Hagood, Joshua May, Jacob May, Samual Johnson and Daniel Johnson.
