He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Katrina Samford, who was his steadfast partner through every season of life. Leland is also survived by his son, Jason Samford, and Jason’s wife Sabrina, who held him in deep affection. His legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren, Alexander, Ana, and Eli Samford, and his great-grandchildren, Faith, Emery, and Jase.
Leland is also survived by his brothers Richard Samford, Marvin Samford, and Raymond Samford, along with Raymond’s wife, Cindy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Archie Marvin Samford, and by his brother Michael Samford.
