She was predeceased by: her parents, James W Cason and Essie Mae Register Cason; her husband Doil Burnett; her son Timothy Doil Burnett; and her brothers, George Cason and Henry "Sonny" Cason.

She is survived by: her children, Cathy Tyson (Tommy) of Lakeland and Craig James Burnett (Autumn) of Cherry Lake; and her sister Frances Norris of Greenville, Florida. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 Great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cherry Lake Baptist Church (1308 County Rd 150, Madison, FL 32340).
