Born on December 10, 1941, in Gretna, Florida, Lee was a beacon of light to all who knew him throughout his 84 years of life.Lee was the beloved son of the late Jamie Sr. and Mary Lee (Davis) Anderson. His life was enriched by the love and companionship of his siblings. Though he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Jean, and brother, Roger Anderson, his memory will be carried on by his surviving siblings, Lettie Buck, Marian Anderson, Richard Anderson, and Jamie Anderson Jr. Lee's legacy will also live on through the many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who adored their Uncle Lee, as well as the countless friends who were blessed to know him.Lee had a passion for music, often found humming a tune or sharing his favorite songs with those around him. His artistic talent shone through in his drawings, capturing the beauty he saw in the world.A familiar and welcome sight in his neighborhood, Lee could often be seen driving through the streets in his wheelchair, stopping to chat with neighbors and friends. His presence brought a sense of community and warmth to those he encountered. Lee's love for wrestling was more than a hobby-it was a source of excitement and entertainment that he eagerly shared with anyone willing to join him in watching a match.Lee's life was a portrait of love and kindness. He approached each day with a positive attitude, never failing to uplift those around him with his compassionate demeanor. His impact on those he met was profound, leaving a legacy of love that will continue to resonate in the hearts of his family and friends.Funeral services to celebrate Lee's life will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. with a time of visitation beginning at Noon at Brown Funeral Home in Niles.
