Leland “Lee” Barry Lucas, 75, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at his home. He was born on November 26, 1950, in West Hamlin, West Virginia, to the late Billy James Lucas and Dolly Atkins Lucas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings.

He found deep joy in fishing and hunting, cherished local history, and loved sharing stories about the legends of Tecumseh and The Blue Jacket. His curiosity, easygoing nature, and storytelling left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of the outdoors, and the many friendships he formed throughout his life.
