He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Lee was most proud of his grandchildren.Born Leonard Clay Corkins on October 26, 1959, he was a son of Mrs. Ann Reiman Oakley of Springdale and the late Nathaniel Clifford "Corky" Corkins. He graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1978.Lee had worked for the Cotton Belt Railroad, Locke Plumbing, and International Paper Company before going into business for himself as a plumber.He was a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church, the Pine Bluff Masonic Lodge #69, and was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason.Survivors include his wife, Tammy Stratton Corkins, whom he married on May 16, 1981; his mother, Ann Reiman Oakley (David) of Springdale; a son, Leonard Clay Corkins, Jr. (Samantha) of Jacksonville; a daughter, Meagan Corkins Hood (Matthew) of Hensley; three granddaughters, Mattie Hood, Charlotte Corkins, and Macey Jo Hood; two "grand-dudes", Hayden Feathers and Harper Feathers; a sister, Kelly Corkins Railsback of Fayetteville; and a brother, Brad Corkins of Oregon.Visitation will be Tuesday, March 10, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Ralph Robinson & Son.
