Lee Ann Cauley
April 20, 1977— March 11, 2026
San Angelo, TX
Lee Ann Cauley, 48, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2026 and joined her little brother in heaven. Born in San Angelo on April 20, 1977, she graduated from Lake View High School in May 1995 and earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Angelo State University in December 2004. Lee Ann dedicated her career to helping students discover their strengths and navigate their futures. She began teaching in San Angelo ISD in 2005, shaping young lives with patience and heart until 2013, when she joined Veribest ISD as the dyslexia specialist and transition coordinator. She embraced this role with passion and expertise, making a lasting difference in the lives of those she served. A longtime member of Immanuel Baptist Church and an active Emmaus participant, Lee Ann lived her faith with quiet devotion.
She married Jamie, the love of her life, on July 16, 2005 in Ruidoso, New Mexico, and welcomed their son Tucker on June 14, 2008. Lee Ann cherished every moment with Tucker, never missing his activities and eagerly anticipating his graduation in May.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jason Block, grandfather Royce Latham, and grandparents Reagan and Ruby Goble. Lee Ann is survived by her husband Jamie Cauley, son Tucker Cauley, parents Barbara and Carl Block and Ralph and Diane Goble, father-in-law and mother-in-law Lehmen and Roxie Cauley, sisters Kristy (Joey) Huffman and Brandi Goble, brother-in-law Cody (Donna) Cauley, nieces Hannah and Rylee Wilde, nephews Cooper and Carson Cauley, grandmothers Margaret Latham and Ann Block, her beloved dog Maggie, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Her sudden departure leaves an ache that words cannot fully capture. Yet her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and the impact she made on her family, friends, students, and the Veribest community.
