She was predeceased by: her parents, Shep Bethley and Sarah Gordon Bethley; her siblings, Roosevelt Brown, Frank Brown, Sr., Rev. Shep Bethley, Jr., James Bethley, Beatrice Brown Heard, Hattie Ruth Bethley and Merlee Marshall; her grandson William Davis; and her brothers-in-law, Jimmie Fox, Larry Lawrence and Freddie Allen.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Allen; her children, Bobby Allen, Jr. of Ferriday, Billy Allen of Ferriday, Vicky Harris (Gene Jr.) of Ferriday, Freddie Allen (Margo) of West Monroe, LA, Christopher Allen (Tina) of Winston, GA, Jacqueline Leonard (Mitchell) of Houston, TX and Pamela Rogers (Dwight) of Roxie, MS; and her siblings-in-law, Lloyd Allen (Rosie) of Chicago, Theodore Allen of Ferriday, Dr. Betty Green of Lansing, IL and Carolyn Lawrence of Chicago, IL.. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grand children and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Concordia Funeral Home (609 Alabama Ave, Ferriday, LA 71334). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Harvest Baptist Church (305 Lake Dr, Ferriday, LA 71334).
