Lawrence Mancy Daniel

Lawrence Mancy Daniel, age 71 of Wilmar, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Baptist Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. Born on June 2, 1954, in Warren, Arkansas, to Fred Lawrence Daniel and Alice Lorraine Montgomery Daniel, he lived a steady and hardworking life as a carpenter before retiring. A longtime member of Wilmar Baptist Church, Lawrence was known for his quiet strength and devotion to his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Don Daniel, and a granddaughter, Catherine Ann Fakouri.

Lawrence is survived by his wife of 51 years, Alice Daniel of Wilmar; his children, James Benjamin Daniel and wife Beth of Conway, and Maggie Ann Fakouri and husband John of Sheridan; his sister, Aggie Grant of Wilmar; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Those who knew him will remember a man who found deep fulfillment in his faith, his craft, and the love of his family.
