North Huntingdon, PA
Lawrence F. Stoken Jr., known affectionately as Larry, passed peacefully at home with his family on March 12, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on August 4, 1945, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, to the late Lawrence F. Stoken Sr. and Helen (Swerbinski) Stoken, he grew up with a strong sense of duty and family loyalty that defined his life.
A proud United States Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam War, Larry was a devoted family man who found his greatest joy in the company of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He had a lifelong passion for cars and was a familiar face at Corvette shows and other automotive events throughout the years. Above all, he treasured quiet moments surrounded by those he loved. A faithful member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Irwin, Larry lived with sincerity, warmth, and quiet strength.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Eleanor S. (Rhodes) Stoken; his eight children, Larry, Kandi, Timothy, Shawn, John, Matthew, Marshall, and Michael Stoken; his brother, Dennis Stoken; his sister, Margaret Stoken; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will always remember his deep affection for them. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Stoken, and a sister, Elaine Deliman.
