Lawrence Cundary

Lawrence Cundary, age 78, of St. John, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Lynda (nee Forgue) Cundary; his children, Dana (Bryan) Ruthrauff, Gina Davitt (Brian Eskra), and Lawrence Jr. (Rebecca) Cundary; seven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Salvatore and Virginia Cundary.

Lawrence spent 44 years as a dedicated employee of the IHBRR. He was a lifelong and passionate fan of the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs, whose games brought him enduring joy and many cherished moments with family and friends.

He will be remembered for the quiet strength, loyalty, and devotion he showed to his wife, children, and extended family throughout his life.
