Lavoy Sales ObituaryVisit the Terrell Broady Funeral Home, Inc. - Nashville website to view the full obituary. The world grew a little dimmer on March 3, 2026, when Lavoy Sales exchange this earthly life for eternal peace. Though his passing was sudden, it was peaceful, and while his time now feels heartbreakingly short, his impact was nothing short of amazing. Born on July 10, 1970, in Nashville, Tennessee. to the late Mai Helen Shelton and John L. Sales, Lavoy ----affectionately known to many as Shell was a force of nature wrapped in love, laughter, and a lot of spunk. At the heart of Lavoy's life was his family who he had a deep rooted love for. He was a devoted husband, father, future grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He loved to spend time with his family, laugh and go fishing on the lake. If you knew Lavoy Sales, you'd know he loved to laugh and have fun.His life was rooted in faith, Lavoy Sales loved the Lord because his Mother Mai Helen Shelton taught all her children and grandchildren about Jesus and took them to church. She was the matriarch and the glue that held our family together. Music was one of the great joys of his life. He loved singing and worshipping to gospel song "Let It Rain" by Bishop Paul S. Morton and many others at home. He would lift his voice and hands in praise and worship. Beyond spending time with family and music, Lavoy Sales embraced life fully. He enjoyed watching movies, cooking, and playing games with family, creating countless memories around the table and in the living room with laughter and love. He also loved the outdoors and cherished simple moments of peace and joy. One of his favorite pastimes was driving his boat to the lake with his Wife Crystal and daughters Keyera and Kayla. They went fishing together and enjoyed the beauty of nature and the quiet moments God provided.Lavoy lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with joy and purpose. His lives on in every life he touched and every soul he lifted along the way. As we say our final goodbyes, remember the joy he brought into our lives and the love he shared with everyone he met. His love will continue to inspire us. Lavoy was a man of faith and a believer in Jesus Christ.
