Laverne Wallace Alexander

We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Laverne Wallace Alexander of Jackson, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Velma Wallace and James Wallace; her husband Clarence Alexander; her children, Deloris Moody, Jackie Alexander and Joey Alexander; and her son-in-law Joe Patrick.

She is survived by: her daughter Linda Patrick of Martinez, Georgia; and her grandsons, Justin Alexander, Clayton Alexander, Ray Alexander, Dylan Alexander, Brandon Doherty and Nathan Patrick. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home (403 E Baltimore St, Jackson, TN 38301). A burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Ridgecrest Cemetery (200 Ridgecrest Rd, Jackson, TN 38305). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at the Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home (403 E Baltimore St, Jackson, TN 38301).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Southern Baptist Convention in her memory.
