(Lambert) Bliven, 77, of Pascoag, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Bayberry Commons Nursing Home, Pascoag, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of William L. Bliven, and they had been married for the past 56 years.Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Aime and Yolande (Frechette) Lambert. She resided in Pascoag since 1981, previously residing in Cumberland.She was a 1967 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She worked as a secretary for most of her life, most recently as an Office Clerk for the Brenner McDonough and Tortalani Company for 12 years retiring in 2018.She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Pascoag, where she was very active in her parish community as a lector, eucharistic minister and CCD teacher. Laurette loved trips to the casino, spending time by the ocean and swimming in her backyard pool. She also enjoyed bowling, Bingo, and watching America's Got Talent. She took pleasure in shopping and loved the thrill of finding the best sales. She once tried her hand at motorcycling but decided to leave that to her boys. Laurette had an amazing personality and the ability to see the good in any situation. She made everyone feel at ease in her presence. Of all things, nothing made her happier than time spent with her family. She loved her grandchildren very much and never missed an opportunity to support them in any activities they were involved in.In addition to her husband, she leaves her two sons, William P. Bliven and his wife Kristen of Carlsbad, CA and Ryan M. Bliven and his partner Alisha Conley of North Smithfield; her daughter, Laurie A. Barber and her husband Wayne K. of Thompson, CT; her two brothers, Aime Lambert and his partner Joanne Haynes of North Providence and Paul Lambert and his wife Linda of Florida, A brother-in-law Patrick Brady and his wife Karen of Cumberland, A brother-in-law Robert Bliven of Pascoag, A sister-in-law Frances Bliven of Pascoag; her grandchildren, Mason Barber, Hailey Bliven, Graham Barber, Faith DiMuccio, Lilly Bliven, Destiny DiMuccio, and William Brady Bliven; as well as several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many close friends, especially including her life-long friends, Virginia Salois and Cheryl Healey.The family would like to thank Bayberry Commons Nursing home for their kindness and compassion during her time in their care.Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Laurette's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 4 to 7 PM and continue on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 10 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM in the Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland.
