Lauren Blair ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Weber-Hurd Funeral Home on Mar. 16, 2026.Lauren (Barker) Blair, age 52, of Chillicothe, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at her home after several years of struggle with lupus, heart and lung diseases, and chronic pain.Lauren was born on August 10, 1973 in Milwaukee, WI to Ronald Lee and Christine (Downing) Barker. She married William Lute Blair on May 24, 2014 in Chillicothe.Surviving are her husband, Lute; her parents, Ronald and Christine Barker of Germantown, WI; her sister, Angie Barker of Menomonee Falls, WI; her father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Elizabeth Blair of Beaufort, SC; her brother-in-law, Thomas and Nancy Blair of Sugar Land, TX; her niece and nephews, Abigail and Alex Steinhaus and Jack and Ethan Blair; and many beloved family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.Lauren received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and her master's degrees from the University of Massachusetts and Arizona State University. She was proud of her career as an environmental engineer for ADM, Caterpillar, and most recently for GE Aerospace. She truly worked to make the world a better place.Lauren enjoyed being on the water, whether it was swimming or boating. She liked traveling to see friends and family, camping, and visiting new places. She also loved their two cats, Luna and Lucky.A celebration of life will be held Saturday May 9, 1 PM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, W156N8131 Pilgrim Rd, Menomonee Falls WI 53051.
