Laura Tankersley League

Laura Tankersley League, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, was born on July 20, 1946. She passed away on March 4, 2026, at the age of 76.

Laura was preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Oneal League; her mother, Ella Ruth Tankersley; her brother, Michael E. Jackson; her grandparents, Ethyl Gertrude Tankersley and Glen Oneal Tankersley; her uncles, James Oneal Tankersley and Robert Lester Tankersley; and her aunts, Annie Pearl Yablonski and Dorothy Jean Ryberg.

She is survived by her children, Robert Edward Taylor and Jeffery Scott League; her daughter-in-law, Amanda Jean Taylor; her grandchildren, Robert Ethan Taylor and Anna Jean Taylor; her siblings, Gary Jackson and Janet Finestein; her uncle, William Glenn Tankersley; and her dear friend, Bonnie Phillips.

Those who knew Laura will remember the quiet strength and warmth she brought to her family and friendships throughout her life. Her memory will remain a comfort to all who loved her.
