She was surrounded by family and friends.Service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 11:00AM, at Juniper Chapel Original Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service in Pinelawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Kinston. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home-Vanceboro.Ann was a native of Craven County and spent most of her life there. She was a graduate of Farm Life High School, graduating in 1966.Ann was proceeded in death by her husband David Lee Anderson, parents Earl and Irene Smith and brother, Alton Ray Wilson.Ann is survived by her son David Earl Anderson and fiancée Lisa Overstreet of Vanceboro, sisters Jean Dixon and husband Ray Dixon of Grantsboro, Earline Smith of Vanceboro; brother Raymond "Pee Wee" Wilson and wife Cheryl Wilson of Vanceboro, two grandchildren Blaine Anderson and Ashlee Anderson, and numerous nieces and nephews.Ann worked as accounts payable for most of her working career at Cardinal Chemical until retirement. Ann considered her family and friends as her greatest achievement. Ann loved to travel and shop with her sisters.
