Laura Rosa Aguilar

Laura Rosa Aguilar, 38, of Port Reading, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. Born in Lima, Peru, she was a longtime resident of Carteret and Port Reading. She graduated from Woodbridge High School and later earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Kean University.

Laura will be remembered as a kind, generous, and outgoing person who cherished her family above all. She lived with warmth and devotion as a loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephany Monsanto; her parents, Hugo and Rosa Aguilar; her sister, Katherine Aguilar; and her niece, Laura Letellier.
