Laura Muriel Sanchez Pecquet

Laura Muriel Sanchez Pecquet, 92, of Ponchatoula, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026.

Born and raised in the area she called home her entire life, Laura was a longtime resident of Ponchatoula known for her quiet strength, deep faith, and devotion to family. She found great joy in her church community at French Corner Baptist Church, where she worshipped faithfully for many years.

She is remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend whose gentle spirit and steadfast presence left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Laura is survived by her children, grandchildren, and extended family who will carry forward the values and memories she so generously shared throughout her long and meaningful life.

She was laid to rest in Sand Hill Cemetery in Ponchatoula.
