Laura Lee Teegarden

Laura Lee Teegarden, 72 of Augusta, KS, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026 in Augusta KS. Laura was born on June 3, 1953 in Wichita, KS to Faye (Park) and Raymond Teegarden. Laura graduated from Augusta High School in 1971 and attended Wichita State after graduation. Laura worked for Ballinger Catering and The Four Winds Girl Scout Council in Augusta. Laura worked a number of years in the aircraft industry as a Material Planner at Beechcraft. Laura's hobbies include camping, bird watching, and enjoying the outdoors with her friends. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Faye Teegarden; her sister, Susan Teegarden; and her grandparents, Anna and James Teegarden, and Almeda Park. Laura leaves behind her beloved animals, Basha, Winston, Mitsu, Finney, and Gracie. Memorial donations may be made to Beauties & Beasts Wichita, KS or WSU Anthropology Department. Laura has requested that there will be no service.
