Laura Kate Mulkey

Laura Kate Adkins Mulkey, 64, of Clanton, Alabama passed away February 28, 2026, at her residence.

She was born September 13, 1961, in Alabama, daughter of the late Virgil Adkins and Betty Adkins.

She was a Social Worker at Chilton/Shelby Mental Health for 30 Years.

Surviving are her Mother, Betty J. Adkins; Husband, Harold Mulkey; Daughter, Angela (Jared) Stanfield; Son, Christopher Lee Mulkey; Granddaughter, Amelia Stanfield; Grandson, Michael Stanfield.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Virgil Reid Adkins, Jr.; Brother, Bobby Adkins.

Friends will be received Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 11:45 a.m. at Alabama National Cemetery.

Interment will follow in Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, Alabama.
