He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and attended 12th Avenue Baptist Church where he was baptized by Rev. Cleophus Kee.Larry was a very good swimmer for the Windsor Recreation swim team and attended Wheststone High School.Preceded in death by parents William Robert Johnson, Sr., and Emma Jean Johnson; aunt Bertha Mae Johnson; sister Jocelyn Lavern Brown; brothers Darnell Sherod Johnson and Herman Eugene Johnson; sisters Althalene (Effie) Richardson, Bettie Jean Johnson, and Celia White.
